  • 1. Introduction

    MosTech Zone built the Mostech News Portal BD app as a free news aggregator. This service is provided “as is” and intended for users to access and read news content conveniently.


  • 2. Information We Collect

    We not collect, store, or share any personal information from users (such as name, email, contacts, location). All news articles and images are loaded from publicly available sources (e.g. NewsData.io API, official newspaper websites).However, to deliver ads, third-party services like AdMob may collect anonymous usage data, including device model, operating system version, browsing patterns, and Advertising IDs (e.g. Google Advertising ID). This data is used for ad personalization only, not for identifying individual users.


  • 3. Links to Other Sites

    The app may contain links to external news websites. Tapping a link navigates you to that site. These sites operate independently, and we strongly advise you to review their privacy policies, as we do not control them


  • 4. Use of Third-Party Services & Advertising

    To monetize the app, we use Google AdMob, which may use cookies and advertising identifiers to display relevant ads. For details on how AdMob handles data, please see Google’s Privacy Policy.


  • 5. Children’s Privacy

    This app is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.


  • 6. Permissions & App Policies

    This app does not request permissions for access to camera, contacts, location, storage, or other personal data. All content access is done without special permissions.


  • 7. Security

    Although we collect minimal data, we protect application integrity using standard security practices such as HTTPS for network requests, secure API calls, and obfuscation. We do not store user data in our servers.


  • 8. Data Retention & Deletion

    Anonymous logs, crash reports, and analytics (if any) may be retained for up to 90 days for debugging and stability purposes, after which they are deleted permanently.

    User Data Deletion Request: If you wish to request the deletion of any personal data associated with your use of this application that we can influence (such as analytics data), please send a specific request to our dedicated privacy email: user-privacy@mostechzone.website. We will process the request and confirm the deletion of controlled data within 30 days.

    User-Saved Content and Bookmarks:Our app provides features that allow users to bookmark news articles (“Save for Later”) and add custom newspaper or media links.

    Local Storage All links, titles, and bookmarks added by users are stored locally on the user's device using standard Android storage methods such as SharedPreferences. These saved items are not transmitted to any external servers.

    No Data Collection:We do not collect, store, or share the links, titles, or bookmarks that users save within the app. All saved content remains private and accessible only on the user's device.

    User Responsibility Users are responsible for any custom links or external URLs they add to the app. The app does not monitor, verify, or endorse any user-added external content.

    Data Deletion: Users can delete saved links at any time by long-pressing the saved item within the app. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app will permanently remove all saved bookmarks and custom links.


  • 9. Data Source & Updates:

    The app collects and displays news headlines from trusted third-party sources through APIs such as NewsData.io. Currently, we use the free plan of the service, which may limit the number of headlines displayed. In the future, we may upgrade to a paid plan to provide more news coverage and improve performance. This change will not affect user data collection or privacy in any way, as the API is used only for fetching public news content.


  • 10. Opt-Out / User Control

    You may opt out of personalized ads by disabling ad personalization in your device settings, or via the ad’s settings icon. Please note this may reduce ad relevance.

    We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page. Please review periodically.
