However, certain technical information may be automatically collected or processed by third-party services integrated into the app, including Google Firebase and Google AdMob. Depending on the services used and your device settings, this information may include:- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system, and app version.
- App installation identifiers or similar technical identifiers.
- Crash reports, diagnostic information, and technical performance data.
- Advertising identifiers, where applicable and permitted by your device settings.

3. AI-Powered News Summaries
MosTech News Portal BD provides an optional AI-powered feature that allows users to generate concise summaries of supported news articles.
When a user requests a summary, relevant article content or text may be processed by the AI service used by the app for the purpose of generating the requested summary. Users should avoid submitting personal, confidential, or sensitive information through content submitted for AI processing.
Generated summaries may be stored using Firebase or other cloud-based storage services so that previously generated summaries can be retrieved efficiently and unnecessary repeated AI processing can be reduced. Summaries may also be stored locally on the user's device for offline reading and listening.
AI-generated summaries are provided for convenience only. They may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. Users should always refer to the original news article and publisher for complete and authoritative information. -
4. Firebase Services
MosTech News Portal BD uses certain Google Firebase services to support app functionality, reliability, communication, and performance. Depending on the current app version, these services may include:
- Firebase Crashlytics: Used to identify crashes, errors, and technical problems so that we can improve app stability and performance. Crashlytics may process crash logs, device information, app installation identifiers, and diagnostic information.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): May be used to send important app announcements, feature updates, service information, promotional messages, or other relevant notifications. FCM may process technical identifiers required to deliver notifications to devices.
- Firebase Remote Config: May be used to manage selected app features, configuration settings, promotional offers, feature availability, or app behavior without requiring a new app version for every configuration change.
- Firebase Cloud Storage / Database Services: May be used to store and retrieve generated AI summaries or related non-account-based app content to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary repeated summary generation.
Firebase services are provided by Google and may process technical data according to Google's applicable privacy and data-processing practices. For more information, please review Firebase Privacy and Security and Google's Privacy Policy .
